Let me tell you my short story about why I become an online entrepreneur.
I started my small company selling certified organic products for babies and kids in 2017. It went quite well until the coming of the Covid-19 pandemic in late 2019 radically changed the way people live and work, including me and my company. Imagine being in that crisis, losing a source of income you have, and feeling stress and anxiety, resulting in physical and mental health pains, fear, and anxiety for many months. Luckily, I still have my full-time job at the university. However, this only source of income I had at that time could not cover all my family and business expenses I had.
Do you know what saved me from that situation of emotional and financial insecurity?
“Creativity” and the “Passion for planning” are the answer.
As a university professor for over 10 years since I graduated with my Ph.D., I have been finding a way to boost my productivity in teaching and learning. To achieve my professional goals, I need to design my way to bring better organization, productivity, and happiness to my daily tasks and work routines. I believe in “The power of organization and planning” which could make my life easier and help me to achieve my goals.
That’s when I started creating a professional planner for myself and regularly made a revision to meet my needs every year. I have become a planner addict and a bullet journal enthusiast since then.
How the “Creativity” and the “Passion for planning” saved my life?
I started this online business because I am passionate about planning and got the idea of how to utilize my creativity and the experience of professional planning from my academic career. I felt as if my life had a small light bulb, and the fact is that it is true!
That’s when my online journey started in 2020, while I was being in the middle of a crisis!
“Geminiga De Papel” is my creative side hustle and favorite creative world that I feel inspired and enjoy living in every moment of my days since it started.
I run “Geminiga De Papel” with a passion for making functional and digital products for professionals and business owners who want to boost their productivity in various forms, ranging from printable planners, digital planners for iPad, OneNote digital planners, and Notion planners. I believe in the power of organization and planning, and I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals. My products are designed to be beautiful, functional, professional, and easy to use. Moreover, I also would love to help others plan and execute their creative projects. Another mission is to help people bring their creativity to life through our products.
